When can a tyre be repaired vs replaced?
According to BS AU 159, punctures up to 6mm in diameter within the central 70% of the tread width can be repaired. Sidewall punctures, shoulder damage, or tyres driven on flat cannot safely be repaired.
What happens if my tyre cannot be safely repaired?
Our mobile vans carry replacement tyres matching your size so if an unrepairable condition is discovered, we can fit a new tyre on the spot.
