PULL OVER TO A SAFE AREA
If on a motorway, move onto the hard shoulder or an emergency refuge area. Turn your wheels away from the traffic.

HAZARDS ON & WEAR HIGH-VISIBILITY
Turn on your hazard warning lights immediately. If you have a high-vis jacket, put it on before exiting.

EXIT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE
Never exit into oncoming traffic. Step out via the passenger side and move behind the safety crash barrier onto the grass verge.
